Peri-Menopause, Menopause and Vaginal HRT

Most of us think of the menopause as ‘the menopause’, few of us are aware that the menopause is really only applicable as and when you have gone through the whole ‘change’ process and come out the other side. What you may be surprised to hear is that when you are going through all the issues of sleepless nights, hot flushes etc etc (see the list at the end of this section) you are more than likely to be in the phase called ‘peri-menopause’.

Whichever stage you are in, you may find that your symptoms are affecting you so much that your GP discusses with you the need to ( due to estrogen requirements) use Vaginal HRT – which is usually a tablet administered by a plastic tube/plunger as high up as possible (by yourself).

But how are you going to administer Vaginal HRT if you have no experience of inserting a tube/plunger into and up inside the vagina so the tablet is expelled high up by the cervix ?

You certainly don’t want to be in the situation of attempting the procedure only to find you are (a) unable to carry it out (b) wasting medication with each failed attempt – which may result in you not getting the correct dose.

Vagi-Wave can help here because you can practice the art of insertion while at the same time as following the 21 night training programme where you effortlessly prepare your subconscious to control your PC Muscles. As and when you come to administer Vaginal HRT your PC Muscles will no longer go into spasm causing you undue stress with your first attempt as you will feel more confident in administering it.
